What do I need to do to book my wedding with LA Bakery?

If your date is available, a $75 non-refundable deposit will secure your booking. Please check with our staff before sending in your deposit to be sure your date is indeed available.

How far in advance do you need to know our flavors and numbers?

Once your deposit is paid, your wedding is considered “booked” and will stay on the calendar. We don’t need your final numbers and flavors until two weeks prior.

What are your custom wedding cakes or cupcakes prices?

Pricing is completely custom. Overall cost ultimately depends on your final numbers, flavors, number of each flavor, etc.

How does payment work?

Your non-refundable deposit is required at the time of your initial booking. Final payment, final flavors, and final numbers are due two weeks prior to your booked date. Other Pastries added after this time will be billed at our regular online-store prices, due at delivery.

Can we come in for a tasting?

Cake Tastings are available for an additional charge with an option of four different sliced cakes from the Wedding Cake Menu.

Will you deliver and set up?

Delivery and Setup will be available for an additional charge to the following areas: Carson City, Reno, Sparks, Minden, Genoa, Gardnerville, Dayton, Lake Tahoe, and Incline Village. A venue contact person or representative for the wedding party must be present at the time of delivery. We do not set up at your venue. We’ve found over time that wedding parties have a clear vision of what they want a dessert table to look like, and it’s a much better task for someone close to the bride and groom. This is a great task for aunts, cousins, etc.
